Body Imaging Options
Abdominal Limited (Right Upper Quadrant)
Examines the organs and structures in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen. This area includes the liver, gallbladder, right kidney, and may include parts of the pancreas.
Abdominal Aortic
Screens for abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Recommended for patients who have a family history of abdominal aortic aneurysm and/or are male patients ages 65-75 who have smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their lifetime.
Carotid Duplex Ultrasound
Examines blood flow through the carotid arteries, the thickness of the carotid artery wall, and checks for clots.
Pelvic Transabdominal (Non-OB)
Examines female organs and structures including the uterus, cervix, vagina, fallopian tubes, and ovaries through a non-invasive procedure to monitor conditions affecting the pelvic area.
Prostate (Transabdominal)
Examines the prostate gland in males to diagnose and monitor various prostate conditions through a non-invasive and simple procedure.
Renal (with Bladder)
Examines the kidneys and the bladder to evaluate the structure and function of these organs through a non-invasive procedure.
Scrotum (Testicular)
Examines the testicles and the surrounding structures to evaluate the health and condition of the testicles, epididymis (a coiled tube that stores and transports sperm), and other adjacent tissues through a non-invasive and painless procedure.
Thyroid Ultrasound
Examines the thyroid gland, which plays a crucial role in regulating various metabolic processes in the body through the production of thyroid hormones.
Arterial Duplex Ultrasound (Legs)
Is a non-invasive diagnostic imaging test used to evaluate the blood flow and structure of the arteries in the legs.
Venous Duplex Ultrasound (Legs)
Is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure used to evaluate the blood circulation in the veins of the legs.
